He is the guy bring out Photo-Secession. Photo-Secession is a viewpoint that what was significant about a photograph was not what was in front of the camera but the manipulation of the image by the artist/photographer to achieve his or her subjective vision. For this point, it means the photos can tell stories by photographer, not just meaningless pictures to record the scenes. He bring out this new theory, and change the photography from meaningless picture to art.
He also form a group to produce he and his group members art works, and that group is called 291.
